To celebrate the final day of our 2026 swimming season, our Dog Swim event is the perfect opportunity for you to experience our outdoor lido with your four-legged friend in a unique and exciting way. Whether they're a confident doggy paddler or simply love splashing around, this special end-of-season session gives dogs and their owners the chance to enjoy the outdoor pool together for one final day of tail-wagging fun.

Our popular Dog Swim Day gives dogs and their owners the chance to enjoy the outdoor pool together on the final day of the 2026 season here at Hinksey Outdoor Pool. Whether your dog loves swimming or simply enjoys splashing around, it's the perfect opportunity for them to have fun in a safe and sociable environment.
Date: Sunday 27th September
Time: 8am to 6pm
Prices:
£10 per dog
£5 per human swimmer
£3.50 per spectator
Each session lasts 60 minutes, with 6 sessions running throughout the day.
Dog swim rules
Please be aware of the following T&Cs:
Dogs must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over, in a 2:1 ratio.
Dogs are advised to wear a properly fitted life jacket. Life jackets are not provided by the site.
Owners are encouraged to bring a dog bowl. Communal bowls will also be provided.
Lifeguards are not trained to carry out rescues on dogs. If a dog gets into difficulty, it is the owner's responsibility to intervene.
Pregnant dogs are not permitted.
All dogs must be kept on a lead outside of the pool. Leads are not provided by the site.
Dogs that have recently experienced vomiting or diarrhoea, or have open skin infections, are not permitted.
All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up any mess caused by their dogs.
Dogs are advised to be washed before and after being in the pool. A wash station is available on site.
No under 8's swimming.
Spectators can book at reception £3.50 per person on a first come first serve basis.
We reserve the right to ask the customer and their dog to leave the premises with immediate effect if we have any concerns regarding aggressive, violent or otherwise concerning behaviour.
The closest parking is situated at Hinksey Park Car Park.
