Stoke Mandeville Stadium is known worldwide as the "Birthplace of the Paralympic Movement". With our fully accessible on-site accommodation and catering, we have the perfect venue for a training camp or event in an excellent variety of Paralympic, Olympic and other sports.
Our team has many years of experience in supporting disabled people to access inclusive sport at all levels from community sport to international standard and works closely with Clubs, Governing Bodies and sports organisations to deliver your events and programmes.
A range of inclusive sports ranging from boccia, table tennis, poly bat, badminton, football, new age kurling, seated volleyball, indoor tennis.
These sessions are for everyone. Sports will change every week to give you a real flavour of the different sports available at the stadium.
A wide variety of our equipment is wheelchair accessible, covering everything from cardio to resistance. We also have an Innerva power assisted Rotary Torso machine that assists in the rotation of the upper body (above the waist) and shoulders.

A general independent swim session that develops skills and confidence within the water.

This session is available to people of all abilities with assistance getting into and out of the pool with our electric pool hoist or pool pod if required. One carer is able to attend for free per person.
Ever fancied trying a new sport? Working with Aces, a local wheelchair basketball team, these beginner sessions are open to everyone (16+ years of age). As well as being a great way to keep fit and healthy they’re also a great opportunity to meet new people.
All equipment and wheelchairs are supplied. Maximum of 12 people per session.
Circuits 4 All - Online Class
This is a fully inclusive circuits session for all levels of fitness and ability and our studio is fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with any mobility issues.
Our circuits sessions are run by fully trained coaches who can adapt any exercises to your needs, helping you to meet your full potential!
An all-inclusive yoga session that strengthens your body and mind that is available to all abilities. Yoga is a fantastic way to stretch, strengthen and unwind. Our understanding and experienced instructor will guide you through the session and you will take full part, regardless of any physical injury or impairment.
