Located in the heart of Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville Stadium (www.stokemandevillestadium.co.uk) is a thriving local leisure centre. Also known as the ‘birthplace of the Paralympics’ and the National Centre for Disability Sport, Stoke Mandeville Stadium offers some of the best sports facilities in the UK. It also hosts a range of different events from local community activities to national and international meets. And the Stadium is home of the National Wheelchair Championships, hosted the 2010 Paralympic Shooting World Cup and is hosting the 2012 European Under 22 Wheelchair Basketball Championships.
