Festival Fun at Stoke Mandeville Stadium

On Tuesday 24th November, 37 students with Severe Learning Disabilities attended the latest Disability Sport Festival at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

The students came from Maplewood, Heritage House and Penn Schools, all special schools within Buckinghamshire. The pupils had a fantastic day taking part in Boccia, Kurling, Polybat, Street Dance, Badminton and Multi-skills. The activities were tailored to suit the need of the students and all the participants took part at their own level. The activities were lead by coaches from Impact Coach Agency and supported by young leaders from Alfriston School who are undertaking an SLUK leadership course.
