Job Role title: 2* Lifeguard Full time (Closing Date 9th June 2017)

Section 1: Job Role Content

We are recruiting for individuals who are highly motivated and can provide excellent customer service. You’d be critical in maintaining our facilities to be open, clean and safe, as well as ensuring equipment is working. Ideally holding a National Pool Lifeguard qualification, you will be able to work on your own initiative & play an integral part of the team who follow a quality management system.  Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of all our customers
  • Pro-actively carrying out daily checks such as pool temperature ensuring standards are met
  • Take price in poolside surroundings, by conducting cleaning duties & maintaining hygiene standards
  • Provide a professional, friendly and welcoming services to all customers
  • Maintain full product knowledge of the services at our centre.
  • Flexibility towards the hours and role are essential as you will be required to work on a shift-rota basis including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

This position holds a minimum of an active National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification. However full training will be given to the right candidate.

Sales Advisor full time (Closing Date 9th June 2017)

Job Role Content

We are recruiting for individuals who are highly motivated and can provide excellent customer service, you will need to exceed all membership sales targets and assist the customer in making the best decision for them along with promoting the facility and providing information as required. You will be able to work on your own initiative & play an integral part of the team who follow a quality management system.  Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • To welcome all guests for the facility, promoting the image of the centre and the Company by the provision of a quality customer care service.
  • To actively sell all activities, memberships, courses and other products within the centre, as well as all other facilities within the Company
  • To deal with all written, telephone and verbal enquiries politely and promptly and handle and record.
  • Maintain full product knowledge of the services at our centre.
  • To achieve/exceed all personal sales targets set for both unit sales and Admin Fee, prorated and any other revenue.
  • Ensure all new leads are given a 1Life card and their data recorded correctly
  • To assist the team in achieving the overall target for the site.
  • To diligently and effectively embrace all national sales and referral campaigns with passion and energy.
  • To enter onto the relevant software system all the details required to set up the membership correctly including the photo of the new member.

Skills and Qualifications

Basic English, Maths and IT understanding

Has worked and succeeded in a target driven, customer facing environment involving daily management of KPI’s

A basic knowledge of sales and influencing people’s decision making processes

The ability to build rapport and understand and connects with people. Must be comfortable speaking to ‘strangers’ and being able to make the first approach

Duty Manager Full time         (Closing Date 9th June 2017)

Job Role Content

Are you a Duty Manager looking to step up to a larger site and challenge/develop yourself or are you an experienced recreation/lifeguard who is proactive team player with excellent communication skills and high operational standards? If so, we are looking to recruit a Full time Duty Manager.

Supporting the General Manager and/or Operations Manager, you will lead and be accountable for staff on-shift and the day-to-day operations of the Centre. You’ll employ the process and procedures of 1Life’s QMS to ensure the building is open, safe, and clean, equipment working and staff friendly. The right individual will take a hands-on approach to service delivery & be able to work under their own initiative to ‘get things done’.

The main duties include the management of facilities & activities programmes within the Centre. Health and Safety management and monitoring, ensuring all departments deliver a first class service for all customers and visitors.

Qualifications

This position holds a minimum of a level 2 Leadership & Management Qualification or equivalent, along with an active National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification. However full training will be given to the right candidate.
